The Black Dog works closely with all of its manufacturers to make sure that each of our garments fit comfortably and correctly. While garments will fit each individual differently, we have developed these guidelines to give you a general idea of how one of our garments may fit you.

Hat Measurements

Fit Description
Ladies Fit Cut for women and girls with shallow head shapes. If too shallow try Extreme Fit.
Extreme Fit Cut for the those who prefer a shallow cap
Mid Fit The perfect fit right between Extreme and Classic
Classic Fit Cut for the average to deep head shape. This the deepest fit we carry
XL Cut Both deeper and wider to fit men with a head shape that is larger than “large”. This cap is not only cut deeper than the Classic, but also wider
Youth Fit Ages 3-12 and fits similar to the Extreme Fit
Toddler Fit A very lightweight, soft cotton cap with an elastic closure to fit most infant/toddlers aged 6 months – 2 years

1971 Dog Facts

🐾 117 dog breeds were recognized by the AKC 🐾 The poodle was the most popular dog in 1971, and was for 22 years 🐾 Dog ownerships have tripled since 1970s 🐾 Dog food was around 20 cents a bag!🐾 David Leavitt set out to create an English Bulldog that was less intense, more nimble and healthier. Crossing the Bulldog, American Pit Bull Terrier, Bullmastiff and the American Bulldog, Mr. leavitt managed to create today's Olde English Bulldogge.
